Each and everyday celebrities are embracing the idea of making their own family. Like having a husband/wife, making babies, owning a dog and so on. In fact, their offspring is what people love most about them.
The public and the press aren’t really to be blamed, I mean, the babies of the famous personalities are so lovely along with their names (Stormi, Chicago, True…)
A lot of the celebrities let us know in 2017 that they will be joining the parenting club for the first time in 2018.
We have a list of the celebs who became parents for the first time, just a reminder if you have forgotten:
1. Kym Johnson
April 23 is the date when Kym Johnson the professional ballroom dancer and her husband welcomed their twins.
Kym and her husband gave away so many details before the babies arrival; what we didn’t get though was the babies’ gender. They decided to surprise us two weeks before they were born.
This is how the superstar dancer captioned the first picture of the twins: “I never thought my heart could feel so full. We’re so in love with our little angels. Born at 7.44am and 7.45am 4/23/18.”
2. Jordin Sparks
The American singer, songwriter and her husband, Dana Isaiah expanded their family from being two to three.
Sadly enough, the baby Dana Isaiah, named after his father, was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck twice.
Anyway, the baby finally took his first breath after the couple’s midwife quickly freed DJ from the cord.
“It was just this incredibly miraculous, beautiful moment that I don’t know could ever be duplicated,” said Sparks. “You see in movies how emotional people get, but until you are actually sitting there … it’s beyond anything I’ve ever felt in my life,” she added.
Kylie’s pregnancy was the one most talked since she stayed away from the press and public keeping the pregnancy a secret. September 2017 was the time when it was said that Kylie Jenner is expecting Travis Scott’s baby. After the arrival of Stormi on February 1st, she finally let everyone know about the baby’s arrival.
Three days after welcoming Stormi, Kylie shared a footage of the whole pregnancy journey. She was accompanied by friends and family throughout all that time.
“Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life-changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it,” is what Kylie wrote.
4. John Stamos
John Stamos the Americal actor, who got married for the 3rd time in February with the actress Caitlin McHugh, welcomed the baby boy two months after the wedding.
Instagram was the social platform that the Full House star shared the news of the baby’s arrival.
The actor and the actress decided to name the baby after John’s father, Bill, who passed away in 1989.
“From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son. Welcome, Billy Stamos (named after my father),” he captioned a photo of the newborn laying on his chest.“#NotJustanUncleAnymore #Overjoyed”
5. Joy-Anna Duggar
Four months after their “rushed wedding” was when the Duggar family announced they were expecting a baby.
February 23, was the date when Joy-Anna and Austin joined the parenting club for the first time welcoming their son, Gideon who weighted 10lbs 3oz.
“We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth,” they admitted for People. “Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is so good, and we are so thankful.”
6. Karla Souza
The 32-year-old actress used the How To Get With Murder TV show character to hide her pregnancy in real life, and guess what? She totally achieved that. Only after the baby’s arrival, she let everyone know that she was pregnant and she now has a baby.
“So I have something to share with you guys,” this is what she wrote on Instagram. Just minutes later, she shared a second photo, revealing that her daughter has arrived. The couple named their first-born Gianna.
7. Khloe Kardashian
Late December was when Khloe Kardashian announced her pregnancy with Tristan Thompson’s child.
In one of the episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians she made it public that she is expecting a baby girl.
Khloe Kardashian gave birth to their first child on April 12, and Tristan was present in the delivery room.
Only days before Khloe shared a footage of the precious True and everyone fell in love with her.
Kris Jenner later tweeted the meaning behind the unique name.
“FUN FACT…my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton… My Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton… So I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!”
8. Christina Perri
Usually, they get the news of becoming parents after their marriages. This was not the case for the “A Thousand Years” singer and her husband. Two months after their engagement was the time when they found out they will be joining the parenting club for the first time.
March was the month in which Christina decided to share a picture of the baby girl, captioning the picture:”She is always smiling. She is pure joy & magic. We are so blessed & so in love!”
9. Kirsten Dunst & Jesse Plemons
Being notoriously private is what helped the couple Kristen Dunst and her fiance, Jesse Plemmons, to keep the pregnancy a secret. Only earlier this year she revealed her bump with her appearance in Rodarte’s 2018.
According to People, sources who are close to Kirsten and Jesse confirmed that they welcomed “a healthy baby boy” over the weekend of May 12. Nevertheless, none of them have made a statement yet about their new family.
10. Erin & Ben Napier
The HGTV’s Erin and Ben Napier’s baby was too excited to come into this world that she arrived much earlier than expected.
The baby was named after Erin’s grandmother, Helen who arrived on January 3.
“She showed up two weeks early, but I think it’s better that way because I got a great night’s sleep before rushing to the hospital,” Erin told HGTV. “I know as we got closer to the big day I would’ve been too anxious to sleep.”
11. Rachel McAdams
The Notebook star and her boyfriend who kept the pregnancy a secret welcomed their first baby in April. They didn’t give much of the pregnancy expect the baby’s gender.
The couple was spotted in Los Angeles for the first time with their baby boy. They were heard talking about the baby, saying he is “a good baby” and a “good sleeper”.
